How We Work
Provide Social Security Schemes :
Why Social Security?
The Indian Constitution protects the rights of migrant workers, providing legal safeguards to ensure their interests are upheld, enabling them to lead dignified lives. However, despite millions of migrant workers moving across India, the constitutional safety net often fails to reach them. The government has introduced numerous initiatives and established a legal framework to safeguard migrants’ interests, focusing on their quality of life, social security, welfare, and access to decent work. Unfortunately, due to inadequate coordination between state and central authorities, migrant workers are frequently deprived of these fundamental constitutional right.

What services do we provide?
- Creating awareness to the workers on Social Security Schemes and provide information through IEC material
- Facilitating to arrange camps for BOCW registrations in collaboration with MeesevaCenters
- End to End process from application to benefit delivery
- Providing Laminated Card to the workers Continuefollowup with the concerned Dept., for successful of application submission and benefit delivered.
ANKITA adopts a people-first, participatory approach, ensuring that our interventions are:
- Community-led and inclusive
- Based on evidence and lived realities
- Scalable, sustainable, and locally relevant
